Little People, BIG DREAMS is a biography series for kids that explores the lives of outstanding people, from designers and artists to scientists and activists. All of them achieved incredible things, yet each began life as a child with a dream.
With more than 100 books now in the series, it’s surprising that Mozart is just now getting his own book. But it’s a fun one nonetheless. It is a basic picture book biography with accessible text and extended information at the end. The stylized illustrations are the big draw.
Though there is a timeline at the end and a few of his compositions are mentioned, a list of his most popular pieces would have been a nice inclusion so that readers could easily play them in conjunction with reading the book. Otherwise, this is a fine addition to this series.
