There’s no doubt that King Tutankhamun Tells All! will be a hit with kids. How do I know? I had planned on reviewing this book a lot earlier, but my 7-year-old kept “borrowing” it. And now that I have it back, she’s made me promise she can have it for good once I’m done. Not only that, but she’s been sharing Tut trivia on a regular basis.

Ancient Egypt seems to really hit a chord with kids and adults alike. There’s mystery, mysticism, and pageantry all mixed into one. In this book, Tut gives readers the inside scoop on his life, complete with snarky comments. His conversational tone makes the text enjoyable, and the information is divided up into bite-sized nuggets.

Bright, bold and humorous illustrations add interest, as does page layout.
