There are a lot of reasons this series is so popular — relatable characters, smart writing and illustrations that build on the text are just a few. Readers who have just advanced to chapter books enjoy the shorter chapters that are full of illustrations. But they don’t just appeal to emerging readers. Those who have advanced past them, still get excited for new books because they know the stories will be great.
This is one of my go-to series for recommendations.
And for those of you wanting more Ivy & Bean content, you’re in luck. The first of three live action Ivy & Bean Netflix movies based on the bestselling books launches Sept. 2.
